ATTENTION!!! Reduced fee physicals are available!!! Tahoe Family Physicians are offering reduced fee physicals for Pop Warner Participants. Please call (530) 543-5660 to make an appointment. You must have an appointment as these are during regular business hours. Appointments are available on Wed. 7/23, Mon. 7/28 and Wed. 7/30. If you do not have insurance, the cost is $10 otherwise it is free and they will bill your insurance. Please call Chuck @ (530) 542-3970 or (530) 314-9728 if you have questions. If you miss the physicals at Tahoe Family Physicians, I've been told you can contact Jobs Peak at Stateline and get a sports physical for $25. Volunteer, Coaches and Player Applications / Contracts / Physical / Birth Certificates / Report Cards can be faxed to (530) 542-3985 On-Line Signups are still available! Sign-ups are now $175 for football! Your child must be signed up prior to the first day of practice. If you wait until practice begins, your child will miss a day of practice as they have to be entered into the National computer system before they can practice. After you signup, be sure to contact Eva Snyder (530) 721-1921 for raffle tickets. Every player / cheerleader is responsible for selling a minimum of 10 tickets this season.
The forms necessary to send in are available for download in the "Handouts" section of the site. Send the completed forms to the P.O. Box so they arrive prior to August 3rd. If you feel there is a reason you cannot sell the tickets, please contact Chuck Leonard at (530) 542-3970 or (530) 314-9728. Pre-Season BBQ scheduled for July 26th, 3pm. Location: South Tahoe Parks & Recreation Building - BBQ Area in the front of building.

Mandatory Sagebrush Coaches Clinic
August 2nd - 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Head Coaches must attend or relinquish there team per Sagebrush Empire Board.
On-line Head Coaches Training is at: http://www.usafootball.com/pop_warner Per National every Head Coach must complete. Submit sign-up receipt to Chuck for reimbursement. The training / certification is $9.95. If you opt for the full coaching package it is $19.95. South Tahoe Pop Warner will reimburse for the training / certification, if you want to check out the full coaching package prior to signing up contact Chuck for a login and password to check it out.

Raffle Ticket Sales - April 24th - October 3rd - Contact Eva Snyder to get your raffle tickets or signs for the raffle now! (530) 577-4882
Last Early Signup Date - July 15th, 2008 (All signups after will be $175) (Remember you can signup with a $35 deposit this year and pay the balance before August 4th, 2008. This avoids the late fee!)
Jamboree - August 23rd, 2008 Week #1 Games - September 5th and 6th, 2008
All participants will be required to register prior to the first day of practice. A deposit will be required at the time of registration with the full registration fee due prior to the first day of practice. The first day of practice this season will be Monday, August 4th, 2008.
This year each player will be asked to sell a minimum of 10 raffle tickets prior to the begining of the season. The sales of the raffle tickets is what will allow us to provide your children with the necessary equipment to play football and to keep the registration costs down. The child that sells the most tickets will get a prize that is yet to be determined. We are also looking at prizes for other ticket sellers, but that is yet to be determined. The sales of these tickets are critical to our plans this year as we are hoping to purchase "Sideline Capes" for all of the teams this year. The cost of these capes is in excess of $11,000 and we need everyones support to accomplish this. All ticket sales need to be accomplished prior to South Tahoe High School Homecoming Football Game that is tentatively set for October 4th. Total number of tickets to be sold this year is 3,000. Tickets will sell for $10 per ticket. This years Hawaii Trip includes airfare for 4, so sales should be much easier. In addition, there will be a second prize of a fishing trip provided by Mile High Fishing, a third prize of 4 tickets to Marine World and a fourth prize of 2 small paintings by a local artist.
